Uses of Blenders
A blender can be useful in a kitchen in multiple ways. Some of the typical used include making smoothies and purees, crushing ice, powdering spices, emulsifying, dissolving solids into liquids as well as mixing solids with liquids. A classic blender comprises of a motor, housing, blades and a food container. There are multiple types of containers, including plastic, glass or stainless steel ones and they generally feature measuring marks on the side. Blenders also come with a lid for the container, whose function is to keep the liquids inside when the appliance is in use.
Types of Blenders
Blenders come in two types: countertop blenders and handheld blenders.
