How to Install Track Monorail Lighting

Architects, homeowners and designers recommend the use of track monorail lighting because of its many benefits. The system is available in many finished forms and colors, including chrome antique bronze, gold and brushed nickel.

In order to use the lighting kits, you must first install a transformer with low voltage for the switch. This transformer will give the proper low voltage to power the track monorail lights.

You must do after the drill holes into the ceiling, taking into account the size of the brackets you will use to support the weight of the suspended the  lighting system. Attaching the track to the holes can be accomplished in two ways.

If the track monorail lighting needs direct connection, you must screw it into the ceiling holes, using the proper screwdriver. In case you are installing hanging track monorail, you must have the braces securely screwed. 

Connect the track monorail lighting into the electrical system. It is easy to establish the wires because they are coded by colors. The same wire color   should match the wires on the ceiling. Make a test on the track monorail lighting by turning the light on and off. Thus, you will be sure that the electric part is connected properly.
